New PR firm signs clients

A new PR firm has signed up two big name clients.

Insurance firm Colonial and real estate company Rego Sotheby’s International Realty have both taken on Deep Blue Communications as their PR consultants.

Deep Blue owner Jeremy Deacon, a former Assistant Editor of The Royal Gazette, started the PR firm earlier this year.

He said: “As a new start-up, I am indebted to both Colonial and Rego for showing faith in me. I am delighted to be working for two of the best known names on the Island.”

Mr Deacon, whose firm is based at nineteen in Hamilton’s Queen St, has nearly 30 years’ experience in newspapers and PR, in both Bermuda and the UK.

Colonial CEO Alan Peacock said: “We are very pleased to have appointed Deep Blue Communications. Jeremy Deacon has immediately demonstrated the value that he will bring to our organisation and we look forward to working with him.”
