Butterfield named Island’s best private bank
Butterfield Bank has been chosen as best private bank in Bermuda by a European magazine for the second year in a row.
Butterfield won the award from Euromoney magazine after a vote by private banking professionals from around the world.
Butterfield head of private banking Nir Sadeh said: “We are pleased to have been recognised by Euromoney as Bermuda’s best private bank for the second year in a row.
“This award, along with the recognition we have received from other leading publications, is a testament to the quality of our people, the innovative products we offer and the priority we place on client service.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate each member of our private banking team in Bermuda; this award belongs to all of them.”
The bank was last hear singled out by Euromoney for best private banking services in Bermuda, best relationship management and best range of investment following the magazine’s 2012 global banking survey.
Butterfield has also recently won a hat-trick of awards — private bank of the year for the Caribbean region, Caribbean trust company of the year and trust company of the year for Switzerland, in the International Financial Centre Awards from Citywealth, the UK publisher of wealth management industry news and directories,
