A new job finder website has been launched.

www.watson.bm describes itself as “Bermuda’s fastest, easiest and most modern way to find employment or to advertise a position”.

A press release describing the site states: “Thanks to its simple and intuitive design interface every available job in Bermuda is easily searchable from your pc or mobile device. There is no sign-up necessary to view available job openings.”

For those people who are interested in applying for a job, and to take advantage of the site’s other features, they are asked to create an account to upload their resume to a profile only viewable to employers. “At Watson we respect each end every member’s right to privacy. Therefore only verified employers can view these resumes,” stated a press release about the site.

“Members can upload as many resumes as they like. When you find a job you’d like to apply for, simply click on our ‘Apply’ link and select the resume you’d like to send. Candidates can also sign up for instant real time job alerts to be sent to them when a job they are suitable for becomes available.”

www.watson.bm says it offers employers a “streamlined and efficient approach to reviewing potential applicants and advertising vacancies.

“In just a few easy steps employers are able to use their free accounts to quickly upload a job posting as well as any relevant information about their company.

“Once this posting has been approved — a process which takes only a few minutes — it will appear on the site for potential applicants to apply.”

All job postings are also advertised by our Twitter — @WatsonBermuda — and Facebook — www.fb.com/WatsonBermuda social media accounts.

Watson will send potential applicants an instant alert when a job is advertised in their job category, whether it’s administration, finance, healthcare et cetera. “These postings can be set to expire at a date of your choosing or can be edited at any time using the ‘manage jobs’ feature.

“For instance, if you hire a successful candidate before the expiration of your job posting, simply click the ‘filled position’ option or remove the post.

“The features don’t stop there — our instant resume review option allows employers to see the resume of each and every candidate available in their specific job category.”

Resumes are searchable by category or skill set.

“Using this feature employers can select and review available candidates within minutes of posting a vacancy!” stated Watson. “They are then able to contact the candidate through a single contact button located on their profile.”
