Astwood Dickinson relaunches at Front Street store
Established jeweller Astwood Dickinson, which has been in business since the early 1900s, relaunched last night at their Front Street store at a special event spotlighting new lines of jewellery and watches.
Announcing the changes, Astwood Dickinson said that ‘parting company’ with American jeweller Tiffany, carried in the store until recently, was a “fantastic opportunity to recreate product lines and brands not seen in our store for many years”.
Among the changes is their move to become a “genuine Swiss watch centre”, and they have recruited a watch specialist to help achieve this aim.
“This is well under way with the addition of popular and premier new brands to the store such as Tissot, Longines and most recently Baume & Mercier. The addition of new brands to our mix will not end here and we hope to be showcasing some more exciting watch brands over the coming months.”
Astwood Dickson also announced layout changes in the store to facilitate the Diamond range of jewellery and a new collection of tanzanite.
The jeweller is also promoting an expanded selection of sapphires, emeralds and rubies. Diamond and coloured gemstone collections from American designer Effy Hematian (Effy) have been added.
At the back of the store, there is a new, expanded gold jewellery collection, while at the front Links of London, which have gone through a rebranding process, has a ‘boutique’ location. Astwood Dickinson’s ‘Original’ Bermuda collection also has a ‘pride of place’ site in the store.
“We have worked tirelessly over the past months to bring a fine gem collection with something to suit all tastes,” the company stated.
