Wireless services firm CellOne’s 4G network is expected to be fully up to speed by the end of the day.

CEO Frank Amaral said the CDMA network was already fully restored, while the 2G system and EasyConnect stood at 80 percent operational.

He added: “Field technicians have been working tirelessly around the clock to restore service to all affected areas.

“It is just shy of a week since Hurricane Gonzalo wreaked havoc here and we’ve managed to keep the vast majority of our customers connected, considering the damages sustained.”
