Bermudian Phelecia Barnett has joined commercial and business law firm Bennett Jones (Bermuda) Ltd as an associate attorney.

Ms Barnett graduated from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, with a degree in Political Science, and then attended Law School at The School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.

She was called to the Bermuda Bar in 2010.

At Bennett Jones, Ms Barnett will advise clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters including company and partnership formations, contracts, corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and financial transactions.

Ms Barnett has expertise in the establishment of captive companies, and in corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters.
