A group of women entrepreneurs attended a luncheon to celebrate Women’s Entrepreneurship Day. The event was organised by the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation and the Department of E-Commerce.
The gathering took place in the formal dining room of the US Consul General’s official residence, with US Consul General Mary Ellen Koenig the host.
Among the speakers was Isabelle Brackstone, owner of The Bermuda Perfumery and Lili Bermuda. She talked about creating a work-life balance, whether women entrepreneurs were taken as seriously as men and whether they faced more challenges than their male counterparts.
The luncheon was sponsored by Butterfield Bank.
