Technology firm Fireminds has won a top award from software giant Microsoft.

The Bermuda company has won the 2016 Microsoft Partner of the Year award for the island.

Michael Branco, the chief executive officer of Fireminds, said: “We are now a two-time winner of the Microsoft Partner of the Year Award for Bermuda.

“This is a testament to the consistency of the quality service we provide and our continued technology innovation.”

Mr Branco added: “I am very proud of the Fireminds team, who continue to create unique solutions and work hard for our customers.”

Fireminds was recognised for “outstanding solutions and services, as well as representing excellent subsidiary engagement in Bermuda.”

Gavriella Schuster, general manager of Microsoft’s worldwide partner group, said: “Fireminds is a prime example of the excellent talent we see in our Microsoft partner community to deliver innovative and transformative solutions.”
