Tabs expands product line

Clothing retailer Tabs has expanded its product line in response to customer preferences.

The Reid Street store, which specialises in Bermuda shorts, acted on the results of a survey that sought feedback from customers on which brands and products they would like to see.

Rebecca Singleton, owner and designer of Tabs, said: “The response has been exceedingly helpful and we’re extremely grateful to all who participated.

“It’s important to us to ensure our customers’ opinions and wishes are heard so that we can continue to provide them with the best possible service. The survey validated what we’re doing and also encouraged us to grow and provide more quality products.”

Since first opening the door to its flagship store in 2016, Tabs has also created a curated collection of Bermudian-based brands which grown over the years.

Ms Singleton said: “Providing a place to showcase the abundance of talent we have in Bermuda has always been a no-brainer to me; especially during times like these when we need to support our local entrepreneurs more than ever.

“The pandemic has rapidly changed the way many of us shop. In order to keep up with our customers’ needs during such an unprecedented time, we were forced to look into new opportunities and reinvent the way we do business to keep the company moving forward.”

New brands include Johnnie-O, Holderness and Bourne, Hari Mari, Charleston Shoe Company, Sunski Sunglasses, Bermuda hand-crocheted bags, A2Z Apparel, and Limestone & Cedar.
