Tips to build remote working ‘muscle’

A webinar on succeeding in a remote work environment, entitled “Building Your Remote Work Muscle”, is being hosted by the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce this month.

It is presented by Martha Kirkland, director of FranklinCovey Bermuda. The workshop is open to members and non members and tackles how to be productive and thrive in a remote work setting.

The 90-minute session will enable participants to identify remote work issues and gain some control in that environment, understand how to intentionally prioritise all the incoming requests and challenges, create and execute a space for productivity and identify and learn best practices to ensure high quality work as well as high quality personal time.

It will be a fast-paced and interactive work session for anyone who wants tips and tools to drive a more productive remote environment.

Kendaree Burgess, chief executive officer of the Chamber, said: “The work world today is very different post Covid-19 and there is now a new work environment for us all. Whether we are working from home full time, dividing our time between home and office or back in the office with new conditions, this webinar provides tools and guidance to ensure we all stay a productive as possible.”

The webinar is on October 22. Registration is $25 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members and can be purchased in advance from the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce.
