Chamber to host webinar on communications styles

The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce is to present a webinar that addresses communication styles in changing work environments.

The session, “Communication Styles: Creating Awareness to Better Connect”, is to be held next Thursday from 9am until 10.30am.

Open to members and non-members, the webinar will be presented by Ayelet Shrem, organisational development specialist at Performance Solutions Ltd.

A Chamber spokeswoman said the session will challenge attendees to rethink how they communicate with their teams, colleagues, clients and customers.

The spokeswoman said the 90-minute session will enable participants to discover different communication styles, to uncover their preferred communication style and understand the implications of styles in the workplace and social interactions.

The session is geared to business owners, leaders, managers and employees.

Kendaree Burgess, chief executive officer at the Chamber, said: “Work environments now exist in many different formats. As business owners, managers and leaders, it is important to ensure we are communicating as effectively as possible with our teams, clients and customers. This session will help provide tools to assist you in communicating in the best way possible.”

Registration is $35 for Chamber members and $50 for non-members and can be purchased in advance from the Chamber.
