Butterfield Bank to close Rosebank Centre banking operation
Butterfield Bank will close its temporary banking operation at the Rosebank Centre in Hamilton effective next Monday.
The Bermudiana Road location has been used periodically during the Covid-19 pandemic to provide in-person banking services to seniors and physically challenged clients of the bank.
A spokesman for Butterfield said as the incidence of new Covid-19 cases in Bermuda continues to trend downward, all in-person banking services in Hamilton will now be provided from Butterfield’s Reid Street banking centre.
The St George and Somerset banking centres are also open to serve clients, the bank said.
Banking centre hours at all locations will change to 9am until 4pm, Monday through Friday, effective next Monday.
Clients with physical challenges who require seating while waiting for teller services should identify themselves to security or front desk personnel at the banking centre and Butterfield will make appropriate accommodations, the spokesman said.
He added that Butterfield’s corporate offices have also reopened to serve clients’ corporate banking, private banking, trust and investment needs.
Clients are asked to make appointments: for loans and mortgages, call 298-4799 to book an appointment; for investment services, call 299-3817.
Trust, corporate banking and private banking clients should contact their relationship managers directly, the spokesman said.
