Navdeep Dhesi appointed CFO at BAS
Navdeep (Navi) Dhesi has been appointed chief operating and financial officer of Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd, the company said in a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
The appointment is effective today, the BAS Group said.
The company said Ms Dhesi has been serving as VP finance of the BAS Group since April 2018 with responsibility for the group financial and treasury functions.
Ms Dhesi is a qualified CPA, CMA with more than 15 years of financial and operational leadership experience, the company said. Her areas of expertise include financial and strategic planning, P&L management, operational strategy and process improvements.
She also successfully attained the project management (PMP) designation in 2012.
Ms Dhesi said: “I am delighted to have been appointed as the chief operating & financial officer of the BAS Group of Companies. The BAS Group has a strong history and I look forward to working with the team to execute the Group’s strategies, focus on growth and enhance shareholder value.”
David Pugh, chairman of BAS, said: “The board is very pleased to promote Navi to the position of chief operating & financial officer of the BAS Group. She has proven to be a very capable and competent member of the executive team. We are confident that her strategic background and management experience will prove invaluable as the Group continues to evolve and adapt to an ever-changing marketplace.”
The company said BAS Group is a holding company with multiple subsidiaries providing a myriad of services that are distinct in nature but are also strategically complementary and synergistic. Companies in the group include: BAS-FM, Otis, Weir Enterprises and Eastbourne Properties Ltd.
