Perfumery master class makes scents for Rosewood
A perfumery master class at Lili Bermuda is among the featured attractions of a new international tourism promotion launched by Rosewood Hotels and Resorts.
Presented by Rosewood Bermuda, the class will be held at Stewart Hall, the historic home of the perfumery on Queen Street in the Town of St George.
The hotel chain said: “Inspired by notes of fresh sea salt, cedarwood and other luscious botanicals native to the destination, guests will develop their own custom scent at Lili Bermuda, a 90-year old fragrance house situated in the oldest town on the island.”
The master class is part of a promotion announced today by the international hospitality chain.
Rosewood said: “As an antidote to a year less travelled, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts unveils Summer by Design, a collection of purpose-led journeys designed to encourage exploration, discovery and connection amongst affluential explorers across the globe.”
It added that the itineraries were conceived according to three distinct travel typologies.
The perfumery class is part of “The Timeless Traveller” category of Summer by Design, which Rosewood said is “rooted in the destination's most iconic and historically significant experiences”.
The other categories are Family Wanderlust, which promotes “hands-on, educational activities that foster cultural appreciation among multigenerational groups”, and Curiosity over Convention, which showcases “unexpected interpretations of art, cuisine, wellness and sustainability to inspire internal growth”.
Rosewood said: “The intentional itineraries immerse guests in wider culture and community to spark curiosity, imagination and an enriched approach to travel and to life.
“Especially now, as many have experienced feelings of isolation and confinement in the Covid-19 era, the need for meaningful and fulfilling relationships is resolute, and Rosewood is committed to helping to build these bonds this summer and beyond.”
Other itineraries offered at the 27 properties managed by Rosewood include a tequila tasting and art tour in Jalisco, Mexico; antiquing in Paris; bespoke cowboy boot creation in Dallas; Chalong Temple tour in Phuket, Thailand; truffle and Brunello tasting in Tuscany; cantina tour on horseback in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico; summer camp for kids in Hong Kong; and a flamingo encounter in Nassau, The Bahamas.
Rosewood said the Summer by Design “journeys” are available through September 6.
