Lindo’s switches to Clarien Bank
Clarien Bank Limited and Lindo’s Group of Companies have announced completion of a successful banking migration to Clarien by Lindo’s.
Simon Van de Weg, chief banking officer at Clarien, said: “We are very pleased to announce that Lindo’s Group of Companies has chosen Clarien to be their business banking partner and recently concluded seamless migration of banking and card payment processing to Clarien.”
A Lindo’s spokesman said the family owned grocery store with more than 50 years of trading history had not changed banks since its inception.
He said: “Clarien was genuinely interested in our business requirements and how banking efficiency and cost affects Lindo’s ability to manage operations and deliver value to our customers. Now more than ever these things matter for businesses.”
Beginning today until June 30, Clarien said it will run a “Shop & Earn” promotional campaign at Lindo’s, providing Clarien Visa credit card holders the chance to earn double the rewards points when they shop at Lindo’s stores in Warwick and Devonshire.
One shopper using either a Clarien Mastercard debit card or a Clarien Visa credit card will be selected from all participants in a draw to win a $1,000 Lindo’s gift voucher.
Clarien said double rewards points only apply to Clarien issued Visa credit cards during the promotional period. Clarien credit card holders must be pre-enrolled for either Visa Rewards or Clarien Cash Back prior to the start of the promotion to be eligible.
Clarien debit and credit cards that are used for payments at Lindo’s during the promotional period will be eligible for the $1,000 draw.
The $1,000 gift card is not transferable for cash and may be used for multiple purchases until the value is fully spent.
