ZipX Bermuda has moved its collection centre to 15 Gorham Road, effective today.

The company said that the centre is located between the Lobster Pot restaurant and Oleander Cycles.

ZipX collection customers can pick up their packages from Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 6.30pm and on Saturday from 9am to 5pm.

Kevin Smith, managing director of ZipX Bermuda, said: “We look forward to welcoming customers to our new and improved ZipX collection centre.

“The central location is much more spacious with comfortable seating and refreshments provided for our clients.

“We are always looking for ways to improve our customer experience and hope that the new ZipX collection centre will be positively received.”

ZipX recently announced the move of its US-based air express facility from New York State to Delaware.

Customers now use a Delaware mailing address and the 9 per cent New York sales tax no longer applies.

The company said that the facility in Jamaica, New York, will remain open until November 15 to allow ZipX customers time to switch their mailing addresses, after which any packages sent to the New York address will incur additional shipping costs and delays.
