Dockyard prepares for Christmas
With Covid-19 still having an impact on the island, the Royal Naval Dockyard has opted for a little less bustle this holiday season.
“Although we love hosting a variety of events for the community every year, we have decided to have a low-key season in the interest of keeping the community safe,” said Rebecca Martin, Wedco marketing and events manager.
“The Royal Naval Dockyard would like to highlight the many businesses in the west end of the island and showcase all the exciting experiences and promotions they have in store. ”
The Grand Bazaar located in the Clocktower Mall will be offering a 20 per cent store-wide sale for Black Friday and Saturday. The Clocktower Mall will be open every weekend in December, from 11am to 5pm.
"The Clocktower Mall offers a truly unique shopping experience to both locals and visitors,“ Ms Martin said.
Santa will be back again this year, greeting children at the Frog & Onion pub on December 5, 12 or 19, with live music and entertainment.
Shoppers can also purchase a Royal Naval Dockyard gift voucher, redeemable at every Dockyard business.
