Monique White has been appointed to the position of director of human resources at Digicel Bermuda.

The company said the promotion will see Ms White oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, including recruitment and employment, labour and employee relations, training and development, and succession planning.

Digicel said Ms White got her start in the telecommunications industry as a recruitment manager within KeyTech Limited.

The company said she has spent the past 15 years of her career ensuring employee operations run fairly and smoothly so that Bermuda can have the latest and greatest technology.

“Monique’s sincerity and graceful assurance are traits that make her the perfect fit for this role,” said Stephen Murad, Cluster CEO. “She is not only extremely knowledgeable as it pertains to her field, but also possesses a unique ability to bring out the best in people. Ms White said: “This is another career milestone for me. It is important to me to be the representation I want to see within the executive bodies of organisations. Therefore, I do not take this appointment lightly.
