A winding-up order has been made in the Supreme Court of Bermuda in relation to World on Wireless Limited, the television subscription provider.
TeleBermuda International Limited has acquired the business and certain assets of WoW.
Joint provisional liquidators Michael Morrison and Charles Thresh of Teneo (Bermuda) Limited presented a report to the court regarding the conclusion of the sale to TBi, after which Puisne Judge Larry Mussenden ordered that the company be wound up.
Mr Morrison and Mr Thresh will now proceed with the balance of the liquidation process, distributing net realisations from the liquidation to creditors in accordance with their statutory priority.
