Carey Olsen Bermuda wins RG Top Ten Employer Award
Carey Olsen Bermuda, the law firm, has topped the charts again at the RG Top Ten Employer of the Year in Partnership with PwC.
This is the 12th year for the awards, which were presented at a breakfast event at the plush Rosewood Tuckers Point Wednesday morning.
It is the second victory for Carey Olsen Bermuda (2019), which also won this year’s Diversity Award.
The pandemic prevented the event in 2020 and the 2021 version was held virtually at The Royal Gazette offices.
This year’s awards morning included a welcome and a thank you from Jonathan Howes CEO of BPHL for all the participants and partners. There were warm remarks also from Arthur Wightman, territory leader for PwC Bermuda.
Candice Lambe, president of the Bermuda Human Resource Association, presented the Diversity Award to Carey Olsen representatives.
The employer/employee relationship is at the heart of success for most businesses, and paramount to growth.
The RG and PwC wanted to continue to emphasise the importance of this, through an annual acknowledgement and celebration of the workplace success stories in Bermuda.
The community is enthusiastic year after year. Over 30 businesses typically register for the opportunity to be a finalist and participate in the media and event portion of the award ceremony.
More video and social media have been added over the last few years allowing broader community, who might be unfamiliar with the competition, an opportunity to see how it works.
A separate pull-out publication on the awards is included with today’s newspaper.
