Admission is free, but RSVP is required for entrepreneurs and business professionals at Tuesday night’s Global Entrepreneurship Week Partner launch event: An Evening with Pamela Thomas-Graham.

A partnership involving Butterfield and the Bermuda Tourism Authority, the evening features the bank’s board member and digital media enterprise founder, Pamela Thomas-Graham, in a fireside chat moderated by US Olympian Hazel Clark, director of global sales and business development at the Bermuda Tourism Authority.

Ms Thomas-Graham will share her entrepreneurial path as the conversation explores leadership themes and lessons of her journey.

She will discuss how she built on her early experiences to create the luxury digital media platform, Dandelion Chandelier.

Student-editor for the Harvard Law Review, she became the first African American woman to be named partner at international management consulting firm McKinsey & Company and served as president and CEO of CNBC, as well as a stint as president at Liz Claiborne Inc. She is also a director of Peloton.

Tashae Thompson, VP of Experiences at BTA, said the BTA was happy to support the GEW, an event spearheaded by the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation.

An Evening with Pamela Thomas-Graham will take place at Butterfield Rosebank Centre on Tuesday, November 1 from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.

Global Entrepreneurship Week began as a weeklong celebration to inspire, mentor, and engage the public around all things entrepreneurial.

GEW is the world’s largest celebration of the innovators and job creators, who launch start-ups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth, and expand human welfare.

In Bermuda, the BEDC has extended the activities for the entire month of November.
