There have already been 6,000 votes cast for the Female Entrepreneurship Award 2022, according to the organisers.

And they are hoping to exceed the 8,000 record from last year.

The annual award by WOMB Bermuda (Women who Own and Manage Businesses) recognises the top vote getter for the business/individual for the award.

Stephanie Lee, the WOMB Bermuda facilitator, said: “This is a people’s choice voting system. You can vote for your favourite female entrepreneur and encourage your friends and family to do the same.

“The community is driving the nominations and voting is a huge boost to these women, personally and professionally. I am excited to see who will be this year’s winner.”

Voting ends Sunday, November 13, after which the top three nominees will be invited to the Inspi[Her], 2022 Women’s Entrepreneurship Weekend Retreat.

The event is presented by the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation.

The fifth annual conference will be held over the weekend of Friday November 18 to Sunday November 20 at Cambridge Beaches, where the finalists and winner will be announced.
