Management moves at Watlington Waterworks

Senior appointment: Jon Burull of Watlington Waterworks

Jon Burull has been named president and chief executive officer of Watlington Waterworks Limited.

Mr Burull, formerly the chief operating officer of Bermuda Waterworks Limited, succeeds Allan Rance, who retired from the top posts at the end of 2022.

Karlene Barrow-Kelly, the former general manager of the bottled water division of Bermuda Waterworks Limited, has been promoted to chief operating officer of Bermuda Waterworks.

The announcements were made in a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

Founded by Sir Henry Watlington in 1932 with the intention of supporting what was then a fledging tourist industry in Bermuda, Watlington Waterworks Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary operating company Bermuda Waterworks Limited, has substantially strengthened and expanded its infrastructure to increase public potable water supply through its underground pipeline network for the western half of Bermuda.

It provides its premium quality “Pure Water” bottled water island-wide in three and five-gallon recyclable bottles.

Its operational headquarters remains at the founding site at 32 Parsons Lane, Devonshire.
