Budget breakfast panel finalised

David Burt, the Premier and Minister of Finance, is among five panellists who will engage in discussion at the annual Budget Breakfast hosted by the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce.

The event takes place on Monday February 20 at Hamilton Princess Hotel, just three days after the annual Budget statement is presented on February 17.

Mr Burt will be joined on the panel by Nathan Kowalski, president of the chamber and economic adviser; Christopher Schaper, deputy chairman of the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers and CEO of AIG Re; Stephen Todd, CEO of Bermuda Hotel Association; and Myra Virgil, CEO of the Bermuda Community Foundation.

Danielle Riviere, CEO of the chamber, said: “We are thrilled to have such distinguished panellists joining us for our annual Budget Breakfast – this impressive array of individuals is sure to make for a dynamic and lively debate.

“Representing different sectors and industries, their insights will be invaluable in understanding the impacts of the budget in their respective fields.”
