Chambers ranks Bermuda law firms highly
International law firms MJM, Appleby and Conyers have been recognised by the 2023 Chambers Global Legal Guide.
Appleby was ranked in Band 1, the highest tier, in corporate and finance, dispute resolution and insurance.
Conyers was ranked in Band 1 across its corporate and finance, insurance, investment funds and dispute resolution practice groups.
Christian Luthi, Conyers’ director and chairman, said: “The inclusion of 28 Conyers lawyers (globally) in the 2023 Global Guide is outward confirmation of the work that we do to provide the highest levels of service to our clients around the world.”
Brad Adderley, Appleby Bermuda managing partner, said: “We are very pleased with our continued Band 1 rankings across our corporate, dispute resolution and insurance practices.
“We have an exceptional team of lawyers that are highly skilled, highly responsive and solution-focused. These market-leading rankings reflect our dedication to our profession and clients across the firm.”
Chambers and Partners recognised MJM’s dispute resolution and corporate and finance teams, which achieved a strong ranking in Band 2 and the dispute resolution team was ranked in Band 3. MJM has been acknowledged for its “extremely strong understanding of multi-jurisdictional matters”.
Director Jeremy Leese has again been recognised in Band 2 of the individual rankings and director Fozeia Rana-Fahy has retained her Band 3 individual ranking.
