Carey Olsen launches women’s network
Law firm Carey Olsen launched its new global Women's Network yesterday.
Led by the firm's female partners, the Carey Olsen Women's Network will facilitate meaningful collaboration and support among women across the firm and provide a framework to help women at Carey Olsen, which has a growing Bermuda office, build on their talents and achieve their potential.
Network members will benefit from access to mentoring from female partners and other senior women, support with career planning and business development, and skills and leadership training.
Jersey partner Kate Andrews said: "On International Women's Day we are asked to 'Embrace Equity', and to that end Carey Olsen is committed to fostering an environment in which women feel included, and which actively supports and champions them in their career development, while taking account of their individual circumstances and experiences.
“The launch of the Carey Olsen Women's Network is an impactful next step in these ongoing efforts. I am looking forward to being a part of the Network".
