One Communications, the telecommunications company, has donated Good Friday meals and Easter baskets to the Coalition for the Protection of Children.

One said the donation of a dozen fishcakes and hot cross buns to 30 families, along with Easter baskets for the children, was made in support of the Coalition’s efforts to provide children and their families with a memorable and enjoyable Easter holiday.

The trainee chefs at Bermuda College’s culinary arts programme prepared the fishcakes and hot cross buns, while local business BluKids provided the Easter baskets.

“We are delighted to partner with the Coalition to make this year’s Easter holiday extra special for the children and their families,” said Brian Lonergan, chief commercial officer at One Communications.

“It has been a pleasure to work with the Bermuda College culinary arts programme to provide the delicious meals.”
