Leadership consultant coming to Bermuda
According to communication consultant Michael Angelo Caruso, the five most powerful words you can say to another person are “I am proud of you”.
The TEDx speaker and author of Work Hacks and Effective Coaching will be running a leadership masterclass in Bermuda next month for the Hamilton Rotary Club.
The class, Effective Leadership — Getting People to Do Stuff, is aimed at team leaders, managers, supervisors, sales people and upper-level management. It will offer motivation and reward techniques, strategies for overcoming negativity and ways to deal with challenging personalities within the workplace.
The three-hour masterclass will feature how to be a better role model and how to be less of a boss and more of a coach. Attendees will also learn two things that motivate almost every time, why money is not a motivator, five ideas for dealing with underperformers, how to instantly improve your presentation skills, and more.
Hamilton Rotary Club president Rick Richardson is delighted by the occasion.
“With the generous support of our sponsors Rosedon Hotel, Huckleberry Restaurant and Kitson Group, Hamilton Rotary is able to host this world-class event,” Mr Richardson said.
All of the proceeds from the masterclass will go to Bermuda-registered charities.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to invest in yourself, your teams and Bermuda’s future,” Mr Richardson said. “Leaders and aspiring leaders are encouraged to register today.”
Mr Caruso has delivered more than 2,000 presentations and keynote speeches on the subjects of leadership, selling and presentation skills, globally.
His class will be held on May 19 from 1.30pm to 4.30pm in the BUEI’s Tradewinds Auditorium.
