Digicel Bermuda has transformed its retail store into a carnival extravaganza, to bring Carnival 23 to the heart of the city.

Revel the Retail drew crowds a week ago to join in festivities. The sixth year of partnership with Carnival organisers Nova Mas, was a part of the communication firm’s efforts to support culturally relevant events that matter to clientele.

A Digicel spokesperson said: “The Revel the Retail launch event was the perfect way to kick off this exciting partnership.”

Digicel marketing manager Daniela Nandlal said: “At Digicel, we believe in investing in the communities we serve, and we are proud to be part of such an incredible cultural event.

“We look forward to seeing our customers at the events and sharing in the excitement of Carnival 23!”

Entertainment included DJ Mister Genius, local artist Ponaflex, and the Nova Mas dancers.

“Customers were treated to complimentary swizzles, ‘ready for the road’ backpacks and a chance to win amazing giveaways.

Ms Nandlal said: “Customers can look forward to more thrilling events and initiatives leading up to the Carnival 23 celebrations.”

Some of the promotions included a customer phone upgrade to an iPhone 14 or Samsung S23. Customers also had the chance to win a Nova Mas T-shirt package, featuring a limited-edition carnival-themed T-shirt.

Bermuda Carnival will be held from June 16 to 19.
