OneComm increases mobile phone rates
Mobile phone service provider, One Communications, is increasing the rates for monthly service as of August 1.
The company told customers by e-mail Monday that the price of service for mobile plans listed at $105 per month will increase to $115 per month.
The email stated: “At this time, a price increase is necessary to ensure that we can maintain the high level of service you expect from us and continue investing in the latest technologies and infrastructure to deliver an even better mobile experience.”
The company began the message expressing gratitude to customers for choosing them as their mobile phone service provider, before delivering the news “about some upcoming changes to your mobile plan.”
The message also said that to align with upcoming changes to the line-up of plans the company will also be increasing the Smartphone Data to 15GB as of August 1, and increasing Premium Device Discount value to $800.
The statement read: “We have always strived to provide our customers with exceptional value and top-quality service.
“Over the years, we have continuously improved our smartphone plans with large increases to data allotments and device discounts, introducing cost-effective roaming plans, and enhancing network reliability and speeds.”
