PwC awards two scholarships

PwC Bermuda has awarded scholarships to D.S. Malachi Dates and Riley Morbey.

Mr Dates (Sheridan College, Pilon School of Business) is the winner of the Peter Mitchell Scholarship, worth $20,000 annually.

Mr Morbey (Bermuda College) is the winner of the Abic PwC Award for Bermuda College, worth $5,000 annually.

Damian Cooper, partner, PwC Bermuda, and lead partner of the HeadStart programme, said: “Congratulations to our 2023 awardees. Both students have shown dedication, leadership and academic excellence, and we look forward to their continued success.

"We believe in empowering students through our Peter Mitchell Scholarship and the Abic Education Awards, providing them with the necessary funding and support they need to pursue their studies and career goals.

“We’re committed to nurturing talent and growing the pipeline of future accounting professionals in Bermuda.”

He added: “Our HeadStart programme not only provides financial support for higher education to talented Bermudians, but actively supports students in their career growth, providing them with coaching, mentorship and the prospect of employment with our firm.”
