Walkers introduces summer interns
Walkers Bermuda is hosting six interns this summer they say are exceptional, and who are significantly contributing to the firm's mission and goals, while showcasing talent, dedication and commitment.
The firm introduced Lily Martin, Oslo Adamson, Casey Morris, Isabelle Dutranoit, Amaya Foy and Jasmin Brown.
The firm said the industry-focused intern programme spans four weeks and provides the interns with an opportunity to gain practical experience and in-depth insights into the legal and financial services sectors.
The programme has them actively participating in various projects, mentored by the firm’s seasoned professionals, helping them to gain valuable exposure to real-world challenges.
Bermuda training committee co-chair, Walkers partner Rachel Nightingale, noted: “We are immensely proud of the dedication and enthusiasm shown by each of our interns. Their fresh perspectives and innovative ideas undoubtedly contribute to our continued success. At Walkers, we believe in nurturing young talent and providing them with a platform to flourish.”
Intern and 2023 scholarship recipient Lily Martin commented: “This internship has been a fantastic introduction to the law and its real-world application.
“Not only were the Walkers team instructive and enthusiastic about their areas of practice, they took special care to ensure that everyone had a great learning experience throughout the programme.”
A Walkers statement added: “As the 2023 Internship Programme concludes, we look forward to the ongoing success of each intern in their respective careers. Their contributions and enthusiasm further solidify our commitment to fostering the growth of future leaders.”
