Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty agent John Edwards has completed the Luxury Home Marketing training offered by The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, joining four of his colleagues at Bermuda Realty with the Institute’s Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation and has received recognition as a member of the Two Million Dollar GUILD Elite.

The other agents with the CLHNS designation are Fiona Hatfield, Brian Madeiros, Jack Kripl and Nikki Thomas.

The company said the programme sets the gold standard for modern luxury real estate marketing, and provides training that equips real estate agents with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to provide exceptional service to affluent clients in the luxury residential market.

Diane Hartley, president of The Institute, commented: "Success and consistent sales at or above one million dollars demand a superior level of service.

“We proudly recognise this outstanding performance and bestow upon these elite professionals the earned distinction of being the preferred agent for affluent buyers and sellers."

She said: “Institute members represent the most qualified and skilled luxury real estate professionals in their respective markets.

“They understand the unique needs of high-net-worth individuals when it comes to listing and selling luxury estates and have access to an extensive network of successful luxury agents made possible by The Institute."

A company statement said: “Within the Coldwell Banker organisation, the exclusive group of Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Property Specialists constitutes less than ten per cent of independent sales associates affiliated with the brand worldwide.

“They have earned a distinguished reputation for successfully selling some of the world's most significant properties.

“To become a Luxury Property Specialist, affiliated sales associates must attend the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury programme certification course and apply for the designation with documentation showing they have completed at least three qualifying transactions within a 24-month period.

“The threshold for luxury properties is determined by the top 10 per cent of sales in the listing zip code.”
