Harbourfront launches its Coral Lounge
Harbourfront restaurant has reopened its newly renovated and refurbished lounge. Originally the Sushi Lounge, the new Coral Lounge now offers a full à la carte menu.
The space has been redone in pink and green hues, with light wooden floors, white marble counters and tables.
“We wanted to complement the restaurant’s ocean theme and open up the lounge so that everyone can enjoy the spectacular views of the harbour,” the general manager, Pierangelo Lanfranchi, said.
He said the revamp sought an air of elegance and warmth, providing for business meetings, social gatherings and a tranquil oasis for more casual occasions.
The lounge features photographs from the well-known photographer’s collection and his artwork from Bermuda and Italy.
They include images of the unfinished railway in Flatts, a Lake Como factory known for colouring silk and the Devil Bridge in Bobbio.
A spokesman said the dramatic black-and-white prints with an occasional pop of colour contrast the new soft tones of the lounge furniture.
