Telecoms veteran set to advise Paradise Mobile

A telecommunications veteran with more than 30 years of industry experience has joined Bermudian-based Paradise Mobile as an adviser.

Neville Ray spent 12 years working in the Bellevue, Washington, office of telecoms giant T-Mobile, including nine years as chief technology officer and more than three years as president of technology.

Last October, he wrapped up a seven-month stint as president and strategic network adviser to the company’s chief executive officer, Mike Sievert.

Paradise Mobile said Mr Ray would be “lending his industry-leading expertise” and “bringing his vast experience” to the role.

Referring to T-Mobile, it added that Mr Ray “spurred the telecom behemoth towards significant growth and innovation”.

The company added: “Neville will guide us through the telecom wilderness, helping us steer clear of pitfalls and leading us on a path of unprecedented growth and customer satisfaction.”

Zlatko Zahirovic, chief technology officer of Paradise Mobile, said: "Neville is known for his agile mindset and forward-thinking approach, qualities that we value highly here at Paradise Mobile.
