A team of five executive MBA students from Cornell University will provide 450 hours of consulting to Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty.

Announcing the collaboration, Bermuda Realty said the consulting team is part of the prestigious Executive MBA Americas programme between Ithaca, New York-based Cornell and Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.

The group is engaging in this consultancy as a capstone of their MBA training.

The project aims to address real-world challenges in areas such as organisational structure, culture, finance, marketing and governance.

A spokesman for the firm said: “This collaboration represents a significant opportunity for Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty to leverage international expertise and innovative strategies to enhance its services in real estate sales, rentals, property management, appraisals and land surveying.”

Brian Madeiros, president and CEO, said: "We are thrilled to partner with such a diverse and skilled team from Cornell University.

"This collaboration not only signifies our commitment to continuous improvement and innovation but also offers a unique learning opportunity for both our team and the Cornell MBA students.

“We look forward to the positive impact this project will have on our services and the wider community."

The agency said the consulting team of seasoned professionals has a wide range of experience from sectors including project management, engineering, technology, finance, marketing, healthcare and real estate.

It added that the consultancy process involves comprehensive project development, research, and an on-site consultation, culminating in a strategic report that promises to bring fresh perspectives and solutions to the realtor’s operations.

"We are extremely proud to partner with Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty," said Jonathan Genzen from the MBA consulting team, who is chief medical officer at ARUP Laboratories in Salt Lake City, Utah.

"This project is not just an academic exercise; it's a chance to make a tangible difference in a dynamic business environment.

“We are eager to apply our skills and knowledge to help Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty achieve new heights."
