Nascent Group hires two industry veterans

Industry veterans Yulanda Francis and Shehan Ranasinghe have joined The Nascent Group, the technology-driven insurance and reinsurance service provider based in Bermuda.
Ms Francis will serve as executive vice-president, and sit on the group board with Andre Perez, Alison Morrison and Nigel Godfrey.
She formerly served as president of Horseshoe Re, and as EVP at Artex Capital.
Mr Ranasinghe, who becomes senior vice-president, joins from Artex Risk Solutions, where he most recently served as managing director, Shared Services.
Mr Perez, the chairman and chief executive officer of The Nascent Group, was the founder and CEO of Horseshoe Group, which was acquired by Artex Risk Solutions in 2019.
