Volunteers are being sought to help the Chamber of Commerce set up a new healthcare division.

The organisation already has 17 divisions and recently announced that it was exploring setting up a new cannabis division.

In an e-mail to members, the chamber said that it wants to establish a healthcare division and was looking for volunteers to form a healthcare advisory committee.

“This committee will play a crucial role in developing a proposed structure and framework for the division. The committee is temporary and will be suspended once a healthcare division is implemented,” said the chamber in the e-mail.

“We believe that the collective expertise and insights from our members are vital to this effort.”
