PwC names scholarship winners

Xienne Burch and Imani Bean are the recipients of PwC Bermuda's annual scholarship awards.

Ms Burch is the recipient of PwC’s Peter Mitchell Scholarship, worth more than $20,000 annually.

She is a sophomore studying business administration and accounting at Andrews University.

She said: “I am honoured to receive the Peter Mitchell Scholarship. This award not only supports my educational goals but also motivates me to continue striving for excellence and contributing to my community.

"I am grateful to PwC for believing in my potential and helping me take the next step in my academic journey.”

Ms Bean receives the Abic Award, sponsored by PwC Bermuda, worth $15,000 annually. She is studying accounting and finance at Birmingham City University.

She said: “I am grateful for this award and the support it represents. It will help me to focus on my studies as I pursue my accounting and finance degree abroad. I am appreciative to PwC in helping me to achieve my career goals.”

Damian Cooper, partner and HeadStart programme leader, PwC Bermuda, said: “Congratulations to this year’s recipients.

"Xienne and Imani’s hard work and achievements reflect our core values of leadership, making a difference and reimagining the possible.

"We look forward to seeing the positive impact they make in their careers in Bermuda’s financial services sector.”
