BermudAir offering family-friendly promotion
BermudAir, the island’s boutique airline, has launched a promotion to make travel to Bermuda more affordable for families.
The airline’s first children Fly Free promotion invites travellers to enjoy the island family-style – with no base fare charged for children aged 12 and under.
The promotion applies to bookings made between Friday and July 26, and allows for one free child seat per full-fare adult.
The qualifying travel period is from September 12 to December 12, with some blackout dates applying. Mandatory taxes and fees will still apply on bookings for eligible children.
Adam Scott, BermudAir founder and chief executive, said this was its first promotion for families with young children to enjoy the BermudAir experience and Bermuda.
“This promotion adds another attractive element to the value and convenience of travelling with us,” Mr Scott said. “We are looking forward to welcoming even more families on board.”
The promotion also applies to BermudAir Holidays’ air and hotel packages which can be booked through the airline’s website.
Leslie Peden, BermudAir’s senior vice-president of sales and distribution said: “This allows us to offer kids fly free and stay free deals, too, and our hotel partners with BermudAir Holidays are thrilled to extend our exclusive collaboration in this manner.”
The same booking window and travel dates apply for the air and hotel package promotion.
Participating hotels are Rosewood Bermuda, Cambridge Beaches, The Loren, The Reefs, Pompano Beach, Newstead Belmont Hills, Royal Palms, Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, St Regis Bermuda and Grotto Bay Resort.
“This is the first time we are conducting a co-promotion at this level, so it is another significant milestone in the relationships we want to build with industry partners,” Mr Scott said. “We appreciate the work and support that has gone into making this available for our collective markets.”
BermudAir operates service to destinations on the American east coast and Canada. Bookings and more information can be accessed on their website and the BermudAir app.
