Seven students have joined the Bermuda office of law firm Walkers this summer for the organisation’s legal internship programme.

Oslo Adamson, Imani Bell, Lily Martin, Owen Neal, Saria Robinson, McKenzie-Kohl Tuckett and Kennedy Wilks will gain experience across both the corporate and insolvency and dispute resolution teams.

Rachel Nightingale, finance & corporate partner, and training committee co-chairwoman, said: “We are excited to see the interns back on island and growing their professional skills during their time at the firm.”

Nathalie West, finance & corporate partner, and training committee co-chairwoman, added: “The opportunity to have several of the best and brightest in Bermuda join us for the summer is rewarding in many ways. Our aim is to support them through real-world experience as they embark on their chosen career paths."

The internship programme includes a number of training sessions tailored for the interns on various legal topics, dedicated one-on-one time with partners and associates within the office, team-building group outings and a negotiation case study presented at the culmination of the internship.

Bermudian law students looking to connect with fellow peers and industry leaders in the field are encouraged to attend Walkers Student Networking Event on August 23.
