Deloitte promote two to partner
Deloitte Bermuda has promoted Lewis Lo and Marcin Czarnocki to partner.
The promotions of Mr Lo, who works in the audit and assurance division, and Mr Czarnocki, who works in financial advisory, are subject to approval of the Department of Immigration.
Mr Lo has worked at Deloitte for more than 13 years. He serves clients in the investment management and insurance and reinsurance industries, including investment advisers, investment funds, fund administrators, P&C and life and annuity businesses.
He specialises in private and alternative investments, insurance linked securities and has expertise in various reporting, assurance, and regulatory standards, Deloitte said.
Mr Czarnocki has been at Deloitte for more than 18 years.
The firm said he specialises in providing restructuring advice and managing insolvency engagements, and has significant experience in managing complex cross-border insolvency appointments involving fraud investigations, litigation, asset realisation and stakeholder dispute resolution.
Deloitte said he continues to manage solvent and insolvent liquidations of entities, including insurance entities, investment funds, banks and holding company structures domiciled in Bermuda and the wider Caribbean region.
“Both Lewis and Marcin have continuously demonstrated excellence in how they serve clients and build our business”, said John Johnston, chief executive, Deloitte Caribbean Region and Bermuda.
“Given their contributions to the firm thus far and their commitment to exemplifying our shared values, I am confident that they will continue to make an outstanding impact as they enter their new roles, and it gives me great pleasure to welcome them to the leadership team.”
