More than 100 people attended an open house to hear about an apprenticeship programme at Belco.

The event provided an information sharing session where anyone interested in the programme could learn more about how to apply, the roles they could fill and an opportunity to ask questions.

Belco managing director of bulk generation Nadir Wade said: “We had a great turn out and there was a lot of interest in the programme.”

Mr Wade added: “Many of Belco’s current employees are graduates of our apprenticeship programme which has been empowering young Bermudians with rewarding careers at our company for decades.
