Abacus Ltd, the local full-service accounting firm, has celebrated its 17th year in business in new office space at Thistle House in the centre of Hamilton.

A reception invited guests to participate in games of Crown & Anchor and raise a toast with the featured accountancy-themed cocktail, Excel on the Beach.

Megan Nesbitt, president of Abacus commented: “We could have waited until our 20th anniversary to celebrate our growth, but we are accountants!

“We like to keep things interesting, and we believe 17 has its own unique charm.

“This celebration is more than a milestone; it is a testament to the strong relationships we have built and the community we have cultivated. Our clients are at the heart of Abacus, and it was an absolute pleasure to celebrate with them in such a fun setting.”

With a salute to staff, Ms Nesbitt commented on their growing numbers and continued expansion of services in the future.
