Four prominent members of Bermuda’s business community have been shortlisted for the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards USA 2025.

Nominated for the Woman of the Year – Caribbean award are Laura Kearns, a senior associate at international law firm Carey Olsen Bermuda, and Robin Peters, head of wealth management at financial institution Schroders (Bermuda) Ltd.

Melissa Pope, vice-president, Trust Services, at Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Ltd is nominated as Champion of the Year.

Michelle Wolfe, chairwoman and family counsel at Meritus Trust Company Ltd, is shortlisted in the Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year category.

Citywealth is an award-winning media and events company for the global wealth management industry.

The awards highlight individuals and companies that promote female leadership and support career progression of women within the wealth management sector.

They were created ten years ago in London by Karen Jones, multi-award-winning chief executive and founder of Citywealth.

The awards were recently extended to the United States so as to include women in North America and the Caribbean, including Bermuda, and to highlight their outstanding achievements.

Online voting is now open to allow the global private wealth industry to have their say. This is verified by an independent third party and counts for 10 per cent of the total votes.

The final results will be announced at the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards USA 2025 on March 13 in New York City.
