Bermudian returns home after working in Europe for 25 years
Bermudian Pamela Trott Harris is returning home after more than 25 years working as a clinical psychologist in Europe.
Ms Harris, who has a master's degree in psychology, is joining Benedict Associates, a leading provider of comprehensive workplace EAP wellbeing solutions in Bermuda.
Managing Director, Vaughn Mosher, said: “We are fortunate to have Pamela returning to Bermuda, she’s a natural for working within an employee assistance area and will be terrific with others who are not already within our Employee Assistance Programme network of client companies.
“At Benedict, Pamela will counsel all general personal and interpersonal issues both in the EAP network as well as in Benedict‘s private psychotherapy services.”
According to Mr Mosher, Ms Harris’ background is primarily based on psychodynamic theory, combined with cognitive behavioural skills.
“Alongside classic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, Pamela offers ancillary expertise on business as well as family dynamics,” he said.
Her current field of research is narcissistic abuse and trauma bonding. She has also spent the last two years specialising in individual and couples therapy.
