Law firm Marshall Diel & Myers has hired barrister Kate Fenwick to work in its civil and commercial litigation team.

Ms Fenwick, who has 11 years’ experience at the Bar in Britain, has joined MDM from Trinity Chambers in the UK as an associate in the firm’s litigation department.

The hire follows the appointment of another British barrister, Patrick Goodings, to MDMs’ family and matrimonial team.

Katie Tornari, MDM’s managing director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Kate to MDM.

“She has an impressive track record as a barrister and her excellent advocacy skills will complement an already exemplary litigation practice at the firm.

“I look forward to working closely with Kate and wish her success in her career at MDM.”

The appointment means the firm now has 39 employees, including 19 lawyers, and 82 per cent of its staff are Bermudian.
