Bermuda’s most prestigious employer awards are now open to entries.

The 2025 RG Top Ten Awards are presented by PwC.

The awards are in their seventeenth year, with PwC in a presenting role for the fourteenth time.

They are co-sponsored by the Bermuda Human Resource Association and Global Research.

The scheme highlights local organisations that excel in employer-employee relations, satisfaction and talent retention.

Arthur Wightman, PwC Bermuda territory leader, said: “PwC is delighted to once again sponsor this annual celebration of the best places to work in Bermuda.

“PwC’s latest Global Workforce Hopes and Fears Survey finds that while more than half of workers feel there’s too much change happening at once, many are optimistic, engaged and eager to adapt to new ways of working, including developing new skills and using generative AI to increase efficiency.

“We eagerly anticipate the results of this year’s RG Top Ten Awards and look forward to learning how Bermuda’s leading employers are prioritising their employees’ wellbeing and engagement — and empowering them to actively participate in the journey of business reinvention.”

Global Research, led by Leslie Steede, partners with The Royal Gazette to conduct the annual survey, and tabulate its results, which are 100 per cent data-driven.

The study involves both employees and management participating in surveys that evaluate satisfaction in diverse areas, including employment benefits, career advancement opportunities, communication and overall employee contentment.

Last year, Sun Life International rose above a prestigious set of finalists and emerged as the RG Top Ten Award winner.

Mr Steede said: “Global Research is once again honoured to partner with RG Business, PwC and BHRA on this very exciting initiative. Global Research is responsible for designing, administering and analysing the employment satisfaction surveys to determine the Top Ten winners.

“Participating in the initiative can be an uplifting experience for companies and organisations in Bermuda. Participating and publicly demonstrating a commitment to employment satisfaction and engagement can help companies and organisations attract and retain the best employees in their industries.

“It can also provide them with invaluable feedback on any changes that can be made to improve workplace morale, engagement and efficiency. We would like to encourage all organisations and companies in Bermuda who are committed to employment engagement and satisfaction to participate in this initiative.”

Aside from recognising the island’s Top Ten employers, the Bermuda Human Resource Association sponsors an annual Diversity Award, which was won by Frontier last year.

In 2024, more than 30 businesses registered for the RG Top Ten Awards, and ten were selected to be honoured at a breakfast event at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.

This year the event will be held in September.
