BermudAir has partnered with Paradise Mobile to revolutionise the way its operations stay connected.

Leveraging Paradise Mobile’s 5G network, BermudAir said it has streamlined communication between flight crews, groundstaff and its operations control centre — both locally and internationally — resulting in faster processes, reduced costs and enhanced efficiency.

A BermudAir spokeswoman said: “This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to innovation and sets a new standard for connectivity in aviation with a distinctly Bermudian edge.

“By adopting Paradise Mobile’s high-speed, low-latency technology, BermudAir has enhanced connectivity, achieving measurable benefits such as real-time data access, seamless airport communications and more reliable global roaming.”

George Henderson, cofounder and chief operating officer of BermudAir, said: “At BermudAir, our mission is to provide a world-class travel experience with efficiency at the core of our operations.

“By partnering with Paradise Mobile, we’ve enhanced the performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness of our critical connectivity solutions. This collaboration ensures seamless and secure communication — an essential component of modern aviation.”

With Paradise Mobile’s network, BermudAir said it can now reduce its reliance on costly and inconsistent airport wi-fi networks, and optimise operational costs and reinvest in other areas of the business.

The company said faster data transmission during preflight co-ordination and around-the-clock connectivity are just a few of the game-changing outcomes of this partnership between two locally rooted innovators.
