Sacha Bearden, the chief executive and owner of Baptiste Ltd, has been presented with the Orgill Pinnacle Award for outstanding sales at the supplier’s annual dealer market in New Orleans.

Baptiste, the building and home improvement retailer located on Khyber Pass in Warwick, has now won the award on six occasions.

A spokesman for Baptiste said the award is based on sales volume, adding that “a significant milestone” qualified Baptiste for the award.

Ms Bearden said: “I am honoured that we have won the Orgill Pinnacle Award again, but it could not be possible without the dedication of the Baptiste team.”

The Baptiste spokesman said the annual dealer market presents an opportunity for the retailer to seek new products to keep up with the changing demands of its customers in Bermuda.

The Orgill dealer market featured nearly one million square feet of products, vendors and service providers.
